We are delighted to announce Cat Deeley as our first Global Brand Ambassador!

Cat is considered to be one of the foremost television presenters in the UK and US, currently hosts both British and American versions of hit reality show So You Think You Can Dance, and is a double BAFTA Award winner.

Our Creative Director Elizabeth Galton selected Cat for “her beauty and fresh London feel – something that embodies the essence of the Links of London brand”. A British girl with global appeal, she is the ideal choice for the brand, and we can’t wait to start working with her!

In her first photo shoot with us, Cat wore pieces from our existing Brit Lines and Surfaces collections, as well as our brand new Sweetie collection which hits stores on the 1st April. In gold signature Sweetie, and silver Sweetie cascade Cat shows some of the ways that our creative team have re-worked our iconic Sweetie pieces. Later in the year Cat will also be the face of our AW10 campaign across the UK, US and Asia, and her pictures will be displayed in store this Autumn, where she will be showcasing all the new ranges.

Take a look at our first pictures of Cat below…

We are delighted to announce that we have been appointed to create the Official Jewellery Collection of London 2012 by the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG).

Our Creative Director Elizabeth Galton and her team will create jewellery and precious metal collections, premium items, children’s jewellery and precious metal gifts. Products will include a heritage collection, inspired by iconic images and events from previous Games. The first London 2012 jewellery will be on sale from the summer of 2010 online and in Links of London stores.

LOCOG Director of Commercial Negotiations Charlie Wijeratna commented, “Links of London is a perfect fit for us and will create beautiful jewellery collections to celebrate the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. They embody the city’s wit, spirit and heart through imaginative and innovative jewellery design and we look forward to working with them. ”

Brighton Store Valentine’s Event

On Thursday 11th February, we hosted a Valentine’s event, in the new stand alone Brighton store. Guests were treated to pink champagne and gorgeous cupcakes from a nearby bakery, and there were even nail technicians on hand to provide manicures.

Also present was personal stylist Jane Busby, who talked through the key Spring/Summer trends and matched some of the Links of London pieces to varying day and evening outfits. Celebrity agents, models and local business owners as well as press and fashion bloggers all mingled at the two storey store, and there was a great atmosphere of fun and romance!
