Fall in Love with Links of London

Valentine’s Day is the perfect time of year to tell the person you love how much they mean to you. Links of London have created a beautiful Valentines range that will make your special day even more memorable.

Flutter and Wow

Creative Director Elizabeth Galton’s debut collection ‘Flutter and Wow’ was so well received we expanded the collection for Valentines 2010. Silver stacking rings and interlocking heart necklaces now grace the collection while red garnet detailing embodies the colour of love. Edgy and offbeat, this thoroughly modern heart takes its cues from the fluctuating rhythms and paradoxes of romantic love.

New York Flagship on Madison Avenue opens after Refurbishment

Our Flag ship store underwent a transformation reopening for trade on 21st November 2009. New features include a focal point charm bar that exposes a palette of varying colours; intense purple and calming blue. The store nods Back to the brands British Heritage; vibrant stags heads, bowler hat lights and jewel toned English fabrics upholster the seating around the store. The overall look is bright and fresh with a full height glass façade.

To celebrate the opening we hosted an event in the Madison Avenue store with top weekly New York Magazine. The event saw 120 guests enjoying champagne, cocktails and canapés whilst browsing the new jewellery collections. The Links of London store also offers a range of men and women’s watches as well as leather goods and bespoke services.

Our Creative Director Elizabeth Galdon has shared with us a few of her favourite New York destinations. Here are her top tips for things to do in the city that never sleeps!

The Magnolia Bakery stays open unusually late for a bakery, and typically there is a queue to get in as late as 11.30pm on Friday and Saturday nights!

Head to Ernest Sewn in the Meatpacking District; this denim brand sets itself apart by consistency in concept and strong lifestyle identity.

For Men’s and Women’s shoes with attitude which are cutting edge and cool visit Steve Madden.

Finally, pop into Calypso. Owner and French native Christine Celle’s love of St Barts is brightly reflected in her resplendent silk based skirts and dresses, flowing kurtas and candy-coloured silk camisoles.
