Today we can finally reveal our first ever campaign with our Global Brand Ambassador Cat Deeley! We shot it back in June with Cat in LA, where she modelled our new collections, including new Friendship, which Cat was seen wearing at the Teen Choice Awards last week, 20/20, Infinity and Effervescence. Friendship and 20/20 are already in store, and Infinity and the new Effervescence pieces will be coming later this year – watch this space.

Our Global Brand Ambassador Cat Deeley shone at The Teen Choice Awards in LA last night in a sparkling white mini dress accessorised with a fluro pop of colour in the form of a blue clutch and no less than 10 Links of London Friendship Bracelets. Wearing the glow in the dark yellow bracelet together with new designs from the AW10 collections including 3D skulls and hearts, and multi-colour and neon stripe, Cat dazzled on the Teen Choice blue carpet. She later took to the stage to present an award for best single to Katy Perry.

We will be hiding these brightly coloured creatures in 6 major cities around the UK from 4th August. Cat Deeley flew to London this weekend to join a host of celebrity friends at the polo. Wearing a vintage maxidress and with her trademark golden waves, Cat finished her look with a dazzling display of our Links of London jewellery. Wearing a gold and diamond pendant and ring from the Flutter and Wow collection, Cat also layered up bracelets and bangles from the Sweetie, Watch Over Me and Karibena collections, including the same gold and smokey quartz Sweetie bracelet seen on Cheryl Cole just a few weeks ago. And with the Sweetie bracelet starting at £175, Cat stays true to her “girl next door” appeal, giving everyone a chance to get a piece of her LA look.

We’ve known for some time now, but we can FINALLY reveal that Links of London couture and our Creative Director Elizabeth Galton will feature on this Monday’s episode of Britain’s Next Top Model! This Monday 19th July, host Elle Macpherson will introduce the girls to Elizabeth as their mentor for the week and set them the challenge of modelling the Links of London couture archive and being photographed by esteemed fashion photographer Peter Pedonomous.

From architectural gold and silver heart cages, boxer belts and Masai neckpieces to delicate Sweetie bibs and cuffs all the girls were instructed to model the pieces whilst posing with a series of tube lights to create the most striking pictures of the series to date. Elizabeth chooses the girl she feels has taken the best photograph, and that girl ultimately wins the challenge. Watch Links of London on Britain’s Next Top Model on Living TV, Monday 19th July, 9pm.

Last week Links of London transformed a secret central London location into a glittering display of all our new collections. Being released in store and online between August and November, the pieces were on show for one day only as a special preview to press. Journalists, stylists and bloggers flocked to the venue to see all the new product. “Friendship Blitz”, featured a whole range of new designs of our iconic Friendship Bracelets. Double wraps, 3D skulls and hearts, multi-coloured threads and new versions of our fluoro Friendships sat alongside two brand new designs created by our Global Brand Ambassador, TV presenter Cat Deeley.

All the bracelets were wrapped around brightly coloured spray cans and accompanied by a whole army of metallic and neon gnomes – these little men caused quite a stir, and journalists were desperate to buy them on the spot! Keep your eyes peeled as the Links of London Friendship Blitz is set to take over, and this may not be the last you see of our psychedelic gnomes…

Elsewhere, tube lights were suspended from the ceiling, and in between were floating plinths displaying all the new jewellery collections. The Effervescence collection was on display with four new pieces that have been super-sized to create bolder statements, but still with the same playful feel. A new capsule collection “Infinity” showcased a series of chunky chain pieces twisted in knots and hanging free creating masculine hardware with a feminine edge, which also inspired the season’s couture collection. The couture pieces are one-off pieces not sold in store that are used purely for fashion shoots and celebrity appearances.

This season the pieces featured silver origami roses clustered over enlarged versions of the Infinity chain. Finally, to celebrate our 20th anniversary, the 20/20 collection was created around a central motif of three rings, reflecting the three links seen in our logo, and echoing our motto “Love London Life”. In silver, yellow gold and rose gold, the collection includes cord bracelets, and rings that can be engraved and used as wedding bands.

And as well as all our new Friendship Bracelets and jewellery collections, for the first time ever we have introduced a full range of small leather goods for men and women! In chocolate brown and black for men, and caramel and patent liquorice and plum for women the collection features wallets, card holders, purses, wash bags and document holders. A new set of collectibles from Links of London, that are sure to become as everlasting as our jewellery. Keep watching the blog for more pics of our new collection…coming very soon.

Just a week after wearing two rose gold Sweetie bracelets at the London auditions, Cheryl Cole has once again stepped out wearing our iconic bracelets to the X-Factor auditions in Dublin. In yellow gold, yellow gold with smokey quartz, and rhodium with yellow gold, the three bracelets were the perfect addition to Cheryl’s khaki jumpsuit.

Cheryl offset her bracelets with two of our Sweetie rings in yellow gold and rhodium with yellow gold, and finished her military look with killer heels, and a waist-cinching black belt.
